Face Lift Massage and Acupressure

Face Lift Massage

This technique involves using hands and fingers to perform lifting and sculpting movements on the face. It helps to tone the muscles, improve skin elasticity, and create a more lifted appearance.

Benefits:

  1. Improved Circulation

Face massage enhances blood flow to the skin’s surface. This increased circulation brings more oxygen and nutrients to the skin cells, helping to maintain healthy cell function and repair. It also gives the skin a natural, healthy glow and can improve the overall complexion.

  1. Helps With Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system is responsible for removing waste and toxins from the body. Facial massage stimulates lymphatic drainage, helping to reduce swelling, puffiness, and fluid buildup in the face. This can make the face appear more sculpted and reduce dark circles and bags under the eyes.

  1. Relaxation and Stress Relief

The gentle, rhythmic movements of facial massage can relax the muscles in the face and relieve tension. This can lead to a reduction in overall stress levels, improved mood, and a feeling of relaxation. Regular face massages can also help with stress-related conditions like teeth grinding or jaw clenching.

  1. Toned Muscles

Just like any other part of the body, the muscles in the face can benefit from regular exercise. Face massage helps to tone and firm these muscles, potentially giving the face a more lifted and youthful appearance. It can also improve the elasticity of the skin.

  1. Improved Product Absorption

Massaging skincare products into the skin can help them penetrate more deeply and evenly. This ensures that active ingredients are absorbed effectively, maximising the benefits of the products. It can be especially beneficial for serums, moisturisers, and oils.

  1. Reduction in Fine Lines and Wrinkles

Regular face massage can stimulate collagen production, which is essential for maintaining the skin’s elasticity and firmness. By boosting collagen levels and improving circulation, facial massage can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time, working as a good anti-ageing technique.

  1. Enhanced Skin Radiance

The increased blood flow from face massage not only nourishes the skin but also helps to remove dead skin cells and promote cell turnover. This can result in a brighter, more radiant complexion. The improved circulation can also help to even out skin tone and reduce dullness.

  1. Detoxification

By stimulating the lymphatic system and increasing blood flow, face massage helps to flush out toxins and impurities from the skin. This detoxification process can lead to a clearer complexion and may help to reduce the occurrence of breakouts and other skin issues.

  1. Reduced Tension and Headaches

Face massage can relieve tension in the facial muscles, which can be a source of headaches and discomfort. By targeting areas of tension, such as the temples, jaw, and forehead, facial massage can help to reduce the frequency and severity of tension headaches. It also promotes relaxation and can improve overall well-being.

Jojoba Oil.

During the treatment I use Jojoba oil.

Jojoba oil has anti-microbial properties and contains iodine that prevent  harmful bacteria growth, which otherwise causes pimples, blackheads, and acne breakouts.

Blocked pores quite often lead to acne and pimple formations, which are common problem with teenagers. Many of the beauty products that claim to treat acne have animal fat, which can make the problem worse. Jojoba oil is non-greasy and has capabilities to kill bacteria, so it works as an effective natural remedy for acne.

Jojoba oil not only firm-up and keep your skin hydrated, but also useful in lessening the appearance of skin wrinkles. It is packed with vitamin E, which is effective in getting rid of free radicals that are responsible for aging of skin. Regular use of jojoba oil also reduces the fine lines. The powerful antioxidants contained in the jojoba oil help in regenerating the skin cells.

Face Lift Massage and FILLERS

Face massages won’t affect filler as long as you avoid it for the first four hours after injection. “It takes about four hours for filler to settle into the tissue to where it cannot be further moulded in the skin, and after two weeks is entirely incorporated into your own tissue,” she says. “Massages will have no effect on the longevity of filler duration. It does not increase the metabolism of the substance in any way. Not only will it not interfere with the placement of the filler, but it is recommended in the weeks following filler injection to do light lymphatic drainage massages in the treated areas to decrease expected swelling.

Face Lift Massage and BOTOX

Avoid getting facial & neck massages for at least 2 weeks after receiving Botox injections. This includes any type of facial massage, such as a lymphatic drainage massage or a facial that involves deep tissue manipulation.
